Monday Quote

Here I am Monday afternoon searching around Wikiquote to find an interesting quote. My first search is DMX, I chose him because I loved him as a rapper and he always had good one lines and quotes in his music.  I also had a poster of him and it read

“Walk in my shoes, hurt your feet, then you will know why I do dirt in the street”.

Another one that I always remebered was,

“See to live is to suffer but to survive, well that’s to find meaning in the suffering.” (From the song, Slippin)

Since I have always remembered this quote I figured, hey maybe I can search DMX and find some other good quotes. So I searched and Wikiquote said “DMX is a rapper” and it listed two quotes.  Here are the two quotes:

• X gon give it to ya/fuck waitin for ya to get it on ya own/X gon deliver to ya
• First we gon ROCK/den we gonna ROLL/den we let it POP/DONT LET IT GO/X gon give it to ya/he gon give it to ya

I couldn’t help to laugh a little bit, I mean he is working on his 7th album (its going to be a double LP, so technically 7th and 8th) and has been in 9 movies…and these are his quotes!!!  I aways found DMX as a preacher/rapper, even his new album is going to be one part hip-hop the other more gossip related, according to Wikipedia.
